Later confirming that the Dragon Ball Z Abridged project has officially ended, and any plans to continue to adapt the events of the original series were canceled, fans of Team Four Stars series. So thank you TFS for renewing my interest in Dragon Ball again, which has led me to watching and buying countless DB/Z/GT and Super Merch/DVDs/Blu-Rays. ![]() Sure Akira and Toei probably say it was because of the failure of the american movie but I imagine it was easily down to these guys. And I believe it was thanks to DBZA that interest in more Dragon Ball stuff happened, hence a few specials from time to time - which I'd imagine was Toei testing the waters, and then finally the movies and Super happening. They may not make money from the series directly but they have used the series popularity to make money. Sure there was that 2009 movie, that shall not be named, on it's way but I didn't believe that was actually going to happen but thanks to DBZA, I really cared again for DBZ and wanted more.
